It was a pretty normal day at Kyojin High. The classes were going relatively smoothly, and it was almost time for lunch. Y/N had stopped at her locker to retrieve the books that she required for the second half of the day. As she was about to close the red metal door to her locker, her vision went black. This was due to a certain someone deciding that now would be the best time to play 'Guess Who'. This certain someone was Jean Kirstein.
Jean and Y/N weren't exactly on the best terms. Jean constantly got on her nerves by doing things like this. Jean mindlessly flirts with her with every chance he has and asks her out every other day. This wouldn't be a problem if he didn't do it to every other girl in school, as well.
"Guess who." Jean whispered in the girl's ear.
"Go away, Jean." Y/N replied with a hint of disgust in her tone.
Jean removed his hands from her face. "Aw. You're no fun..." He stated teasingly.
"Yeah, well neither are you." She answered as she turned to walk away. But, before she could start her trek down the hallway to her classroom, Jean grabbed her wrist. She turned back around, causing her H/L H/C hair almost whip Jean in the face.
"I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out after school today."
"The answer is no, Jean. Now let go of my wrist." Jean's gripped loosened at the demanding tone of her voice.
The final bell had just rung and the students were all filing into the hallway from their respective classroom's. As Y/N walked out she noticed Jean standing at the door as if he was waiting for someone.
"If you're looking for Mikasa, she was the first one to leave."
"I'm not here for Mikasa. I'm here for you."
"Why do you always reject me?" Jean finally asked after a moment of silence between the two teens. Y/N turned around and started to walk away, Jean soon followed.
"Seriously though, why do you always reject me?"
"Did you ever stop to think that maybe I just don't like you?" She finally answered.
"Nope. That thought never crossed my mind. It's obvious that you do."
"I do not."
"You totally do."
"I do not."
"Yes, you do."
"Why don't you just go flirt with someone else?!" She yelled exasperated.
"Because you're the one that I like!" He yelled back. It was at this moment that almost all eyes in the hallway were on the pair.
"R-really?" She stuttered shyly.
"Yeah, really." He said, blushing profusely. There was another awkward pause before, "So, are you going to reject me this time?"
